Post-Halloween Lunch

By this time, you’ve eaten most of the Halloween candy, or you’ve foisted it on your co-workers, or you’ve been better than I and you’ve actually just thrown it away.
But, let’s just say you still have some of those mini M&Ms left, and your child is giving you that look that says, how come I have to be the only child at school who never, ever, ever gets anything forbidden in their lunch?
Here’s what you do: you sprinkle those M&Ms on top of some yogurt and all will be happiness in LunchLand. While you’re at it, how about some challah with roast chicken and a little bit of pineapple and one of the season’s first satsuma tangerines?
But for the fact that it didn’t contain a single vegetable (and no, a green M&M doesn’t count as a vegetable), this was a pretty good lunch.
We just got clementines yesterday. Rejoicing heard throughout the land.
Aly and Gracie went trick-r-treating at my house. It was bitterly cold, and in the case of Gracie it was over in less than half an hour.
Rebecca left their candy at my house, where it is still sitting.
Did you ever find the lids to the containers?

Yes, it’s time for holiday food! No lids to those containers have been found … they’ve gone where the second sock goes (and I don’t think it’s behind the drier.) xo, L

I think my lot would thoroughly approve of the chocolate plus yoghurt combo! Clementines have been going down very well in our lunchboxes too.
