They are so expensive here right now, and the kids love them. This week I sliced up some perfectly ripe mangos and topped them with 10 or so blueberries in each of the three lunchboxes.

It’s no longer “cool” to have a lunchbox. The “cool” kids now carry brown paper bag, so that they can easily toss it in the rubbish bin before running out to play. I honestly have no idea what my kids are actually eating for lunch.

Dudelet goes off to the childminders with a Frankenstein’s set of take-away Thai microwave containers, sandwich boxes and little tubs covered in tin foil because we’ve lost the lids.
